CREATING The Illusion Of Truth : Building A Space Lens To Mitigate Global Warming!?

IN order for the supposed man-made global warming climate change ‘crisis’ to metastasise into the costly and ruinous scare that it has now become, it must be accompanied by a constant stream of catastrophic outcomes and grandiose predictions to create the illusion of truth.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbels

SUCCESSFUL global warming climate change propaganda also requires a steady supply of fanciful solutions, leaving the impression that man-made climate change is a forgone conclusion that must be ‘stopped’, whatever the cost.

“Repetition makes a fact seem more true, regardless of whether it is or not.”

“Our minds are prey to the illusion of truth effect because our instinct is to use short-cuts in judging how plausible something is.” – psychologist Tom Stafford

ONE such theorised solution to stop supposed man-made global warming and reinforce the illusion of truth is to build a ‘space lens’ to shield the earth from apparent dangerous sunlight

Ask Ethan: Can We Build A Sun Screen To Combat Global Climate Change? | FORBES

Global climate change is one of the most pressing long-term issues facing humanity today. The science is abundantly clear on what’s happening and why: the Earth is getting warmer, human-caused emission of heat-trapping greenhouse gases is the reason, and the concentration of these gases only continues to rise, unabated, over time. While there are a great many calls to reduce emissions, capture carbon, and move away from fossil fuels, there’s little that’s effectively been done. The Earth continues to warm, sea levels continue to rise, and the global climate continues to change. Could we take a different approach, and partially block the light coming from the Sun? That’s Tony De La Dolce’s question, as he asks:

[W]hy don’t we evaluate building a “sun screen” in space to alter the amount of light (energy) earth receives? Everybody who did feel a total eclipse knows temperature goes down and light dims. So the idea is to build something that would stay between us and sun all year long…

Blah, blah, read on here…

According to Ethan, building a space screen to block the sun is:

“One of the most ambitious, but also one of the sanest, options we could possibly consider when it comes to combatting global climate change.”

The “sanest”?

Houston, we have a problem!

PERHAPS it should be pointed out to Ethan that the sun already has inbuilt heating and cooling mechanisms that, unfortunately for him, cannot be controlled through fear, propaganda or taxes. These are called ‘solar-cycles’, regulated by sunspot activity.

AT present, sunspot activity is 28% of normal with 16 spotless days in April!

The Sun in April 2018

By Frank Bosse and Fritz Vahrenholt
(Translated, edited and summarized by P Gosselin)
The sun was inactive in April, as we currently find ourselves in the minimum between solar cycle (SC) 24 and the coming solar cycle 25.

The recorded mean sunspot number (SSN) for April was 8.9, which is only 28% of what is usual 113 months into a solar cycle. In April, 16 days were spotless. The following chart shows sunspot activity:

Figure 1: Plot of the monthly sunspot activity for the current cycle (red) compared to SC 5 (black) and the mean of the previous 23 recorded cycles (blue).

Next what follows is a chart of the sunspot activity, as measured by satellite. As spot activity rises, so does total solar irradiance (TSI):

Figure 2: Total solar irradiance (TSI)  at mean Earth distance since 2004, (source here). The rise of 1.5 W/m² between minimum and maximum is clearly observed, and translates to approx. 0.4W/m² atmospheric effective fluctuation.

The chart above illustrates the relationship between sunspot activity and TSI. The sharp peaks of greater than 3 W/m² show the effects of large sunspots that darken the sun’s surface.

The question that arises: “Why does TSI increase when there are dark spots?“ This can be answered when the spectral share of the ultraviolet range is accounted for. When dark spots appear, there is a greater source of UV light (faculae), which overcompensates for the visible light.

Figure 2 above also shows us that we reached a minimum in 2018.

The following chart, Figure 3, is a comparison of solar activity of all the previous solar cycles recorded thus far since 1755:

Figure 3: The accumulated monthly sunspot anomaly until 113 months into the cycle. The current solar cycle has been well below the mean in activity, and is the weakest in close to 200 years since SC 6.

GRAND SOLAR MINIMUM?

A few recent and significant cooling phenomenons to ponder…

1. Greatest two-year cooling event in a Century (According to NASA data):

ACCORDING to NASA data, the recent 0.56°C plunge in global temperatures, following the 2015/16 super El Nino, is the greatest two-year cooling event in a century. “You have to go back to 1982-84 for the next biggest two-year drop, 0.47°C—also during the global warming era.” (See here for details)

2. Arctic sea ice volume is the highest in five years, and approaching the “normal” line:

3. The great global warming “pause” continues on strong, with NO statistically-significant global warming for ~20 years despite record and rising CO2 emissions over the same period:
