Greenpeace Filling Up on Fossil Fuels
GREENPEACE is a strident campaigner against big oil, especially against BP. Why isn’t the Rainbow Warrior running on solar power or wind power?
KAYAKTIVISTS protesting against oil exploration using kayaks made from oil. The paddles they use are plastic. The personal flotation devices heavily dependent on synthetic material derived from petroleum. The leader of the protest garbed in synthetic clothing with a petroleum-based megaphone in hand.

The majority of greens have little understanding where their ideas come from. Green ideas are not consciously, carefully thought out. They are picked up as, apparently, “self-evident” truisms. This, especially, explains the green love of natural solutions : organic farming, renewable energy, anti-GMO, anti-nukes. Green politics is emotionally driven, anti-intellectual, safe-prejudice, “common sense” for anti-human times. Neo-Malthusian and scarcity-obsessed ideas are not peculiar to greens either.
I especially include their intellectuals and leaders here.
