The Methane Scam:
One of alarmists’ favorite lies is that “methane is 30 times worse than CO2”
This is complete BS. Methane’s absorption bands almost completely overlap with H2O, and methane concentrations in the atmosphere are very low. CH4 quickly oxides and disappears from the atmosphere, so there can never be a lot of methane in a warm atmosphere with a large concentration of O2.
Methane contributes almost nothing to Earth’s greenhouse effect.

Radical green and government agitators slam methane in latest bid to terminate fossil fuel use
By Paul Driessen ~
Quick: What is 17 cents out of $100,000? If you said 0.00017 percent, you win the jackpot.
That number, by sheer coincidence, is also the percentage of methane in Earth’s atmosphere. That’s a trivial amount, you say: 1.7 parts per million. There’s three times more helium and 230 times more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. You’re absolutely right, again.
Equally relevant, only 19% of that global methane comes from oil, natural gas and coal production and use. Fully 33% comes from agriculture: 12% from rice growing and 21% from meat production. Still more comes from landfills and sewage treatment (11%) and burning wood and animal dung (8%). The remaining 29% comes from natural sources: oceans, wetlands, termites, forest fires and volcanoes.

Wind Power = Fuel Poverty = Jobs + Lives
Warren Buffett on windmill power: “We get a tax credit if we build a lot of wind farms. That’s the only reason to build them. They don’t make sense without the tax credit.”
The Godfather of global warming alarmism and former NASA climate chief turned environmental activist, James Hansen, on ‘unreliable’ energy:
“Suggesting that renewables will let us phase rapidly off fossil fuels in the United States, China, India, or the world as a whole is almost the equivalent of believing in the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy.”
In Germany, around €190 billion has already been burnt on renewable subsidies; currently the green energy levy costs €56 million every day. And, the level of subsidy for wind and solar sees Germans paying €20 billion a year for power that gets sold on the power exchange for around €2 billion.
Energy poverty is a feature of daily life for hundreds of thousands; the promise of millions of groovy ‘green’ jobs is little more than a cruel hoax; and, adding insult to injury, the pretext for the insanity – the reduction of CO2 emissions in the electricity sector – hasn’t quite panned out as Green edicts predicted: emissions are, instead, rising fast (see above and our post here).
Then there’s what perverse market incentives for meaningless power sources have done to prices of an essential input to Germany’s industrial sector. Once the envy of the World, German manufacturers have…

Thanks to the UN IPCC, government funded climate scientists, Greenpeace, NASA, BoM, CSIRO, WWF, industrial wind farms, solar panels, carbon taxes, Al Gore, Barack Obama and the redistribution of hundreds of billions of your hard earned money, Climate Change disasters like the 1914-1915 Australian drought that led to complete National crop failure, will never happen again.
The drought of 1914-15 became seared in the memory of Australians, primarily due to the disastrous failure of the wheat crop that year.
The first signs of drought became evident in 1913, when rainfall in western Victoria, central areas of Tasmania, and settled areas of South Australia, was well below average in the normally wet April-July period. Timely rain in early spring then saved the wheat crop and gave good pastoral prospects. But there was to be no such respite the following year, a strong El Niño year. 1914 started off very hot, and southern Victoria suffered from widespread bushfires in February and March. Good rains fell over most of eastern Australia in March and April, but thereafter extremely dry conditions set in over most of the southern half of the country.
Except in coastal NSW, drought became widespread and severe from July to October. Across large areas of the…
