The Islamic State claims responsibility, but uses local Muslims:
Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks in Paris that killed at least 127 people, saying its fighters carried out the operation in various locations which were carefully studied…
It said “eight brothers wearing explosive belts and carrying assault rifles” conducted a “blessed attack on … Crusader France”…
It said France was guilty of “striking Muslims in the caliphate with their aircraft”.
French president Francois Hollande said the attacks were “an act of war” organised from abroad by IS with internal help.
