Alarmists Making It Up As They Go Along

In the year 2000, CRU climate ‘expert’ Dr David Viner told us that within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event” and that “Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

Well here in the UK we could soon be paraphrasing Dr Viner’s comment to become “Children just aren’t going to know what a reliable electricity supply is” as the effects of several years of replacing power stations with wind turbines comes home to roost.

Great links, I’d missed the news of that scheme.

I wonder how much it will cost to hook up all those generators to the grid on top of the exorbitant incentive payments proposed for the electricity generated?

It might just be quicker and cheaper to burn the money instead and call it a biofuel derived from woodpulp.
