The picture of probable disruption, including adverse changes and some that are beneficial, emerges from draft sections of a new assessment of the climate problem by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and from interviews with scientists involved in the assessment. The panel, a United Nations group of 2,500 scientists from around the world, advises parties to a 1992 treaty that are negotiating reductions in heat-trapping greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide.

IPCC Third Assessment Report – Climate Change 2001
Since the IPCC made these brilliant predictions, the Northern Hemisphere has had five of the six snowiest winters on record

Rio+20 & What Sustainable Development Really Means
Posted: October 5, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a commentTory Aardvark
The new name for the objectives of what was once called Global Warming, Climate Change, Climate Disruption, Weather Weirding is sustainable development.
Sustainable development is not a new idea, it first featured in Agenda 21 the UN plan for one world government in the 21st Century, which was the outcome of the Rio Earth Summit in 1992.
Now 20 years on the Rio+20 Earth Summit in June has dropped Anthropogenic Global Warming as the driver for its crusade and resuscitated sustainable development, with the added extras of guardians of the future and a new crime of ecocide.
Sustainable development on the face of it sounds a friendly enough idea, and conjures up visions, as it is supposed to do of people replacing trees that are cut down with new trees, but, and this is the big but of all time, sustainable development means different things to different…

What Happens If You Actually Run The Climate Models?

I run the radiative transfer model used by NCAR from time to time. It shows that increasing CO2 and CH4 have very little impact on the Earth’s long wave radiative balance.
So why do alarmists keep claiming that these gases are important? That is easy – it is about funding, not science.

IPCC Forgets To Mention Spectacular Arctic Ice Growth
Posted: October 5, 2013 Filed under: AR5, Arctic, IPCC Leave a commentClimatism comment :
When you’re trying to prove to the world that evil human’s 12 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere, causes global warming that stopped 15 years ago, it doesn’t help the IPCC’s agenda to announce the doomed arctic is nearly back to 1995 levels, and has grown 30% on 2012.
The IPCC report also failed to mention that Earth Currently Has More Sea Ice Than 1990 :
Planet Earth currently has 333,000 Manhattans of sea ice, which is more ice than on the same date in 1990. (Note that there was a small dip a few years ago which caused many leading scientists to become hysterical.)
Real Science
You would think that at least one person among thousands of the world’s top climate experts would have noticed the fact that Arctic sea ice is back to 2006 levels. Particularly since the word Arctic appears several thousand times in their report.
